What a thrill it was to see my quilt hanging in our guild's exhibition last weekend. It really glowed in the dark exhibition space. And the rosette on it matched the colours in my quilt perfectly!

read moreThis weekend I'm going to our guild's retreat. We're quite a big guild, so we usually have 3 retreats a year - 2 at Silverstream in Upper Hutt, and one at Home of Compassion in Island Bay, Wellington. Different groups of members are regulars at each venue. I only go to the Home of Compassion retreat which is usually in the middle of winter.
So many people commented on my circle blocks in last week's post.
As I played around with my Marshal Mystery Quilt blocks last week, I came to the realisation that I would be better off making two quilts, rather than trying to combine all the blocks into one quilt.
Today I decided to revisit my Marshal Mystery Quilt. The Marshal quilt was designed by Jen Kingwell and released in Quiltmania magazine throughout 2019.

It's a long time since I've talked about the Marshal Mystery Quilt, designed by Jen Kingwell. The final layout has just been revealed at Houston (as shown below) and in Quiltmania magazine, so it's a good time to revisit my blocks and think about how I will proceed.
